Who are you? And where do you find your identity? I didn’t know who I was until I heard what God says about me. Two weeks ago, my team and I launched for training camp, and I was I terrified. I wasn’t confident in myself, I was focusing on the wrong things and I was trying to live a life with one foot in Christ and one foot in the world. I was scared because I was listening to the world, to what people thought about me. But these past two weeks showed me I had no right to be scared. Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”. There is no reason to be afraid. The creator of the universe loves you and will always protect you. He gives you an identity, don’t go looking for one in the world because you won’t find a better one. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” God has forgotten all of our sin, all of our false identities, everything worldly of us. When He looks at you, He sees His righteousness. He will take you and give you an identity, don’t believe the lie that you have to fix yourself before you come to God. He will take your brokenness, fix your heart and tell you that you are loved, righteous, forgiven, accepted, redeemed, He will tell you that you are His child. So don’t believe the lies of this world, because the Creator knows who you are.

  1. Caedmon, I am a so proud of you! Your blog is evidence of your growth and the confidence you have in who you are in Christ. I am so excited to see the opportunities and challenges God gives you. He has great plans for you!

  2. Caedmon, I was blessed by reading your blog this morning. I am so excited for you. Truly God is enlarging your borders (like the prayer of Jabez) and you will have incredible experiences and opportunities. Someone once said, “God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.” What a privilege is mine to follow your journey and to pray for you. Blessings, Joyce Piskorski

  5. Preach it Brother! This is a good word Caedmon! So much truth in this blog. Of course, if it’s his word, and you are talking about things from his word, it’s got to be good, right? Thank you for sharing some of your personal story-appreciate you being so genuine and sincere. Thank you for serving right now also!
